Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Howell Waters of 105 Robinson Drive, Goldsboro, N.C. will be held on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 1 p.m. at the Rockford Free Will Baptist Church, 5782 Rockford Church Road, LaGrange, N.C., with the Rev. Johnny Wade officiating.
Mrs. Wa-ters was preceded in death by her hus-band, Charlie E. Waters Jr. and one son, Johnathan "Joe John" Howell.
She is survived by four daughters, Vivian Weathers and her late husband, Bill, Barbara Best, Almenter Coley and husband, Edward, and Verline McLaurin and husband, Reggie, all of Goldsboro, N.C.; one son, Nathaniel Howell of Goldsboro, N.C.; three sisters, Lucinda Anderson of Dudley, N.C., Ida Kornegay of Goldsboro, N.C. and Nell Person of Sacramento, Calif.; one brother, Richard Howell of Goldsboro, N.C.; 15 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, Thursday, June 21, 2007 from 1 to 7 p.m. A wake will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. with the family present to receive other family members and friends.
