RUTH H. BEDDINGFIELD

GREENVILLE -- Ruth Harrell Beddingfield, 83, died Sunday.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. in the mausoleum at Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Beddingfield, a native of Edgecombe County, lived most of her adult life in Greenville. She was a graduate of Barton College, formerly Atlantic Christian College. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, where she had served as president of the Presbyterian woman. She had served as president of the Pitt County Democratic Women.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Brooks Beddingfield.
Mrs. Beddingfield is survived by one daughter, Robin B. Bossert and husband, Jackie of Goldsboro; one grandson, Jay Bossert of Goldsboro; one great-granddaughter, Emma Chase Bossert of Goldsboro; one brother in-law, Samuel T. Beddingfield of Titusville, Fla.; and a good friend, Mable Thorne of Greenville.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
