AUTRYVILLE -- Evelyn Elaine Hatley, 51, of 698 Carroll Store Road in Autryville, N.C., died Friday evening at Betsy Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dunn, N.C. Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of David Leslie "Toot" and Evelyn Warrick of Autryville, N.C. She was the assistant manager at the Carlie-C's Store in Dunn.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Mount Carmel Church of God in Autryville, with the Rev. Warren Barfield and Mr. Melvin Warrick officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hatley is survived by her husband, Reed Hatley; a son, Jamie Craig of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Leslie Moody of Monroe, N.C., Samantha Hatley of Autryville, N.C.; two brothers, David Warrick of Autryville, N.C., Melvin Warrick of Hephzibah, Ga.; one sister, Catherine Knowles of Salemburg, N.C.; and six grandchildren.
Family members will visit with friends Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church and at other times at the home of her parents, 4719 Maxwell Road, Autryville, N.C.
