Minnie V. Darden, 89, of 206 Phillips St., LaGrange, died Wednesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Calvary F.W.C. Bishop J.E. Reddick will officiate. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Darden is survived by her daughter, Pency Rosita Savage of the home; a son, Brenford Darden of Kinston; two brothers, Freddie Ray Becton of LaGrange and William Earl Becton of Washington D.C.; a sister, Ida Mae Moye of Charlotte; and one granddaughter, Endres "Peaches" Smith of Kinston.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at LaGrange Funeral Service.
