BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Juanita "Chip" Hudson Bennett Smith, 87, formerly of Goldsboro, died Saturday, June 2, at the New York Congregational Nursing Center in Brooklyn. She was the sister of the late Ernie Hudson Best of Golds-boro. Juanita lived most of her adult life in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Smith, in 2003.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral will be 9 a.m. Friday at the Frank R. Bell Funeral Home in Brooklyn, N.Y.
