HAVELOCK -- Clifton Pate, 72, formerly of Mount Olive, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro. He was the son of the late Clarence and Sudie Pate.
Three children survive.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Pate Cemetery near Mount Olive, with the Rev. Barry Williamson officiating.
