SIMS -- Eleanor Boykin Vick, 82, 7151 Old Raleigh Road, died at WilMed Nursing Center, Tuesday, May 29, 2007.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 1, 2007, at 11 a.m. in the Shingleton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rodney Walls and the Rev. Larry Turlington officiating. Interment will follow in the Bailey City Cemetery.
She is survived by four daughters, Annette Hathaway of Tarboro, Kaye Parker of Sims, Angela Deans and husband, Ted, of Bailey and Lynn Price and husband, Tony, of Seven Springs; one son, Alfred L. Vick of Bailey; one brother, James Wilbert Boykin and wife, Nancy, of Wilson; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Vick.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday evening and other times at 7151 Old Raleigh Road, Sims.
Arrangements are being handled by Shingleton Funeral Home of Wilson.
