JESSIE H. LITTLETON

Jessie Hood Littleton, 88, of the Grantham Community, died Tuesday evening at the Brian Center.
Mrs. Littleton was born in Wayne County to the late Garnie William Hood and Gertrude Grantham Hood. She was married to the late Marvin Alexander Littleton, who preceded her in death on May 21, 1995. Mrs. Littleton was a member of Falling Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Falling Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Varner and Grace Lutz officiating. Burial will follow in Falling Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Littleton is survived by her son, David Littleton and wife, Ann, of Grantham; her daughter, Vicky Parker and husband, Sam, of Grantham; her twin sister, Dessie H. Kornegay of Grantham and her sisters, Gertrude H. Partin of Goldsboro and Maggie H. Hood of Grantham; her grandchildren, LeeAnne L. Edmonds, Scott Littleton, Matthew Littleton, Paul Parker, Jason Parker and Jessica Parker; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Hood.
Memorials may be made in her memory to the Eastern Alzheimer's Association, 400 Oberlin Road, Suite 208, Raleigh, N.C. 27605.
The family will receive friends Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the fellowship hall of Falling Creek Baptist Church.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
