STAFF SGT. MICHAEL DELAMERE

JACKSONVILLE -- Staff Sgt. Michael Delamere, 37, loving husband, father, and valiant Marine died Saturday. He was an active duty Marine, active member of MARSOC, an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, played Rugby for East Carolina University, and was always willing to help others in need. Michael's motto was always, "no worries."

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday at The Infant of Prague Catholic Church, Jacksonville with Father Tom Davis officiating. Burial will follow the service at 2:30 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, Goldsboro, N.C., with full military honors. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Delamere.

He is survived by his wife, Alicia Raynor Delamere of Jacksonville; son, Ian Charles Delamere of Jacksonville; mother, Loretta Delamere of New Mexico; brother, Lt. Christopher J. Delamere of Jacksonville, Fla.; mother-in-law, Lynn Grady Spain and husband, Robby, of Goldsboro; father-in-law, Felton Raynor of Newton Grove; brother-
in-law, Brandon Grady; grandmother-in-law, Mattie Wheless, all of Goldsboro.
