Funeral services for Leroy Atkinson will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy's Road, with the Rev. Joe A. Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
He is survived by four daughters, Clemie Lovick, Helen Baily, Dorise Boyle and Barbara Oates of Goldsboro; four sons, Foye Atkinson, Willie "Joe" Atkinson, Nathaniel Atkinson, all of Goldsboro, and Larry Atkinson of Germany; 26 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be 2-8 p.m. Friday with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. at Lightner Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 601 E. Ash St.
