Betty Mae Wooten, 50, 207 Seymour Drive, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Wayne County and was preceded in death by her parents, Percy Simms and Carrie Glenn. She was formerly employed at O'Berry Center.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday at New Stoney Hill Holy Church with pastor Howard E. McNair officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by her fiancé, Larry Suggs; son, Kevin Wooten of Raleigh; daughters, Kimberly Wooten of Raleigh, Renee Wooten of Goldsboro; sisters, Jackie Day of Washington, D.C., Marietta Wooten of Goldsboro; aunt, Ruth Blue; two grandchildren.
Viewing was Saturday at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, from 2 to 7 p.m. Family was present from 6 to 7 p.m. At other times the family received friends at 507 Quail Drive, Goldsboro.
