MAGNOLIA OWEN HULL

April 12, 1912 - April 11, 2007

ROXBORO -- Magnolia Owen Hull, 94, formerly of Peachtree Street., died Wednesday at Forsythe Medical Center.

Born in Person County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Joshua and Susie Elizabeth Clayton Owen and the wife of the late Oscar Coleman Hull. Mrs. Hull retired from Sprint and was a lifelong member of Grace United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Marc Hull and his wife, Gladys, of Dudley; her daughter, Susan Johnson and her husband, Rocky, of Advance; four grandchildren, Kim Hull, Cole Hull and his wife, Margo, Lori Dodson and her husband, Jay, and Joanna Haire and her husband, Ed; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral was 3 p.m. Saturday at Grace United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Ross Thompson, Don Davis and Tony Cole officiating.

Burial followed in Burchwood Cemetery. Visitation was prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers were Kenneth Hicks, C.P. Owen, Danny Owen, Reggie Owen, Henry Owen, Lewis Walker and Buddy Hall.

Honorary pallbearers were T.B. Grinstead, Mike Clayton, Jimmy Allen, Derek Day, Drew Day, Drake Day, Bob Fry, Fred King, Riley Oakley and members of the Ladies Sunday School Class.

Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 313 Church St., Roxboro, N.C. 27573.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Brooks and White Funeral Home.
