Funeral services for Emma James 79, 1302 Hamilton Drive, who died Monday at Britthaven of Goldsboro will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the New St. John AME Church, with the Rev. Dr. Theresa M. Holmes officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late John and Lourina Phillips. Among her survivors is her husband, Nathaniel James, of the home; sisters, Pauline Holloway and Sarah Herring; and brother, Lonzell Phillips.
Viewing will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel, Goldsboro.
