GRACE F. ALPHIN

KINSTON -- Grace Fields Alphin, 84, 1142 Highway 58 South, died Wednesday at her home. Mrs. Alphin was born in Duplin County to the late Bartholomew and Mattie Fields. She was wife of the late William Elliott Alphin and was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Ray Alphin.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
She is survived by seven children, William H. "Billy" Alphin of Kinston, Dennis Earl Alphin of Orlando, Fla., Ruth, Jean and Jacqueline Alphin, all of Kinston, Shelby Dawson of Dover and Susan Menendez of Liberty; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
