CURTIS L. BREWINGTON

Died April 5, 2007

CLINTON -- Curtis Lynwood Brewington, 61, 123 Kayla Lane, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at the New Beginning Christian Center (Old Holly Grove Church) with the Rev. Don Carter, the Rev. Glenn Vann, the Rev. Ricky Jacobs, and the Rev. Ken Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Holly Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Brewington, a native of Sampson County, was the son of Eloise Simmons Brewington and the late Tony Brewington. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Avan, Carl and Genford Brewington. He attended New Beginning Christian Center and was a filming operator in the glass industry.

He is survived by his former wife, Susan Brewington Melchor of Faison; son, Curtis Brewington of Marysville, Wash.; daughters, Greta Lynn Brewington of Marysville, Wash, Dianna Lynn and Jeana Maria Brewington, both of Faison; mother, Eloise Simmons Brewington of Clinton; sisters, Marie Faircloth, Christine Jacobs, Annette Brewington and Carol Vann, all of Clinton, Rebecca Maynor of Fayetteville; two grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at 3 p.m. Saturday, the hour prior to the funeral service, at the New Beginning Christian Center and at other times at 2026 Boykin Bridge Road, Clinton.
