ALESE L. O'NEAL

Alese Lane O'Neal, 85, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Newport News, Va., she was the daughter of the late Louis Allen and Mamie Ann Jones Lane and wife of the late Benjamin Marriner O'Neal. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Goldsboro.
Graveside funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive with the Rev. Steve Ruberg officiating.
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, William "Bill" and Betty O'Neal of Norwood, Ben Jr. and Patty O'Neal of Melbourne, Fla., Sidney and Pat O'Neal of Greenville, Jeff and Tia O'Neal of Chapel Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Jack Jones of Tampa, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law, Denway and Goldie Lane of Pink Hill; sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Connie Newsome of Goldsboro; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Family members will greet friends at the cemetery immediately following the graveside service.
