Susan Best DuBois, 36, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The Wayne County native was the daughter of Harold M. Best Jr. of New Bern, who survives, and the late Inez Thomas Best.
A private service for the family was held.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her children, Cindle Suzanne DuBois and Paula Marie DuBois of Faison and their father, Jonathan Paul DuBois of Goldsboro; and Zhane' Edwards and Anthony Edwards and their father, Dineo Edwards, of Goldsboro; and her stepmother, Sally Best of New Bern. She is also survived by one sister, Penda Best Sarlo, and one brother, Richard Harold Best, both of Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the House of Fordham, 412 N. William St., Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
