MYRTLE P. PARRISH

JOHNSTON COUNTY -- Myrtle Mae Parker Parrish, 70, of Smithfield Manor, died Wednesday. She was born to the late Charlie David and Sallie Creech Parker and was the widow of Austin Douglas Parrish.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Casey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Medlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Parrish Memorial Church Cemetery.
She is survived by sons, Austin Douglas Parrish Jr. of Smithfield, Needham Gordon Parrish Sr. of Middlesex, Kenneth Warren Parrish of Micro; daughter, Elsie Marie Narron of Parkton; brothers, Marvin Creech of Grantham, Grover Parker of Four Oaks, the Rev. Ralph Parker of Princeton; sisters, Linda Faye Norris of Four Oaks and Betty Jane Tucker of Goldsboro; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Family will be receiving friends 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Casey Funeral Home, Princeton.
