KINSTON -- John Thomas Tyson, 61, 2415 W. Vernon Ave., died Monday at Lenior Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today at Caswell Center Chapel with Minister Sharome Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Caswell Center Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Cora Bell Phillips of Smithfield and a brother, Kenneth Leach of Kenly.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. at LaGrange Funeral Services.
