Lorraine Britt Earnest, 84, 313 Woodside Drive, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Earnest was born in Wayne County to the late Raymond Roscoe and Missie Hinnant Britt. She was a member of Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Gary Bailey and the Rev. Barry Williamson officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" R. Earnest; daughter, Margaret Ann Talton and husband, Billy, of Goldsboro; sons, Tommy Flowers and wife, Peggy, of Goldsboro, and Bobby Earnest of Goldsboro; brother, Howard Britt of Gig Harbor, Wash.; grandchildren, Cindy Boyette of Rosewood and Thomas "Tom" Glenn Flowers of Goldsboro; and great-grandchildren, Savanna Boyette, Chad and Travis Sparks and Kevin McMullin.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Tammy T. Williams, and a brother, Ralph Britt.
Family requests no flowers and memorials in her memory may be made to Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church, 752 Stoney Creek Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.
The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
