DUDLEY -- Jesse Dylan Barwick, 17, 190 Quail Drive, died Saturday. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of Jimmy Barwick of Dudley and Tracey Barwick of Mount Olive. Dylan was an eleventh grader through the home school program at Spring Creek High School and a member of Seven Springs United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harvey Barwick.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Lois Barwick of Dudley; his maternal grandmother, Faye Carter of Grifton; brother, Ben Barwick of the home; aunts and uncles, Cathy and Emmett Redmon of Goldsboro, Susie Barwick Grimes of Raleigh, Garrett and Rhonda Carter of Goldsboro.

Family members will greet friends tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home.
