Ann Solimano Fisher, 73, 217 Pinewood Drive, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Rochester, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Mary Ventura Solimano and was the wife of the late George W. Fisher Jr.

She was retired from Branch Banking and Trust Company with over 27 years of service and was a volunteer at the Satellite Pharmacy at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. A member of St. Mary Catholic Church, she was a member of the Ladies Guild, the Bereavement Committee and TOPS.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Thomas Norris presiding. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, George W., III and Sandy Fisher of Kinston; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and Paul Goetze of Meppen, Ill.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Guy and Marilyn Solimano of Rochester, N.Y., Sam Leccese of Rochester, N.Y.; sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Jerry Reale of Rochester, N.Y.; grandchildren, Jennifer and Daniel McLawhorn, Lindsay Fisher, Ann Marie and Paul Pohlman, Patricia Goetze; one great-grandson, Ethan McLawhorn.

In addition to flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the St. Mary Catholic Church, 1000 N. Jefferson Ave., Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.

Family members will greet friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
