LAGRANGE -- Janice Marie Wilkes, 48, 100 Sutton Drive, died Tuesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. She was educated in the Lenoir County Schools and was preceded in death by her father, Matthew Wilkes.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sat-urday at Eb-enezer Mis-sionary Bap-tist Church, 209 S. Carey St., LaGrange, with Mod-erator Michael Johnson, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, LaGrange.
She is survived by her mother, Thelma Wilkes of LaGrange, four sons, Anthony, Jimmy, and Montreal Wilkes, all of LaGrange, Derrick Wilkes of Oxnard, Calif.; four brothers, Matthew Wilkes of Kinston, William, Otis, and Willie Wilkes, all of LaGrange; two sisters, Rosemary Holmes of Greensboro, Carolyn Wooten of Goldsboro; four grandchildren.
Viewing will be Friday at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S.George St., Goldsboro, from 3 to 6 p.m.
