FREMONT -- Edna Marie Schwark, 43, Polly Watson Road, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, Fremont, with the Rev. Sherwood Page officiating. Graveside service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Black Creek Cemetery.
Ms. Schwark was born in Wilson County to Randle Wilson and the late Lillie Crocker Wilson. She was retired from the Post Office at Fremont.
She is survived by her husband, former Fremont Chief of Police Wayne Schwark; father, Randle Wilson of Pikeville; son, Rodney Amerson of Wilson; daughter, Melissa Holland of Fremont; two brothers, Carroll Wilson of Saratoga and Timmy Wilson of Lucama; three sisters, Sarah Boswell of Wilson, Irma Woodard of Sims, and Edith Crocker of Kenly; and one granddaughter.
The family will receive friends following the service Saturday at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 N. Pine St., Fremont.
