Christine Lewis Kornegay, 78, 1213 N. Jefferson St., died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Chantie Baker Lewis.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Delight United Holy Church, 976 LaGrange Road, with Elder Charles Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by her sons, pastor King David Kornegay, Robert Lee and Sylvester Kornegay of Goldsboro; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be today from 3 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, Goldsboro, with the wake from 7 to 8 p.m. where the family will be present to receive family and friends.
