MATILDA "PEGGY" RADFORD

May 9, 1935-Feb. 10, 2007

Matilda "Peggy" Radford, 71, of 306 N. Pine Street, Princeton, died Saturday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was born in Johnston County and was the daughter of the late John Smith Odom and Carrie Worley Odom. She was the widow of Paul Calvin Radford.

The Funeral Service will be conducted at 5 p.m. today evening at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton with the Revs. Leslie Holt and Rodney Pearce officiating. The committal service will be 11 a.m. Monday morning at the Princeton Cemetery.

She is survived by a son Jeffery Paul Radford, of Goldsboro; daughter, Paula R. Daughtry, of Pikeville; brother, James William Odom, of Smithfield; sisters, Ruth O. Bizzell, of Princeton, Bessie Elizabeth Radford, of Goldsboro, Ila O. Hill of Goldsboro, Brenda Carroll Gurley of Smithfield; four grandchildren, Brianna N. Radford, Kaitlin E. Radford, Emily Daughtry, and Wesley Daughtry; beloved poodle, MoMo. The family will be receiving friends starting at 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon and immediately following the funeral service.
