Malissa Thompson, 96, of Princeton, died Wednesday in Smithfield Manor in Smithfield. Ms. Thompson was a native of Wayne County, a cook for many years, and an usher at Stephens Church.
Services will be at 12 p.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen's Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ). Burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens in Selma.
Ms. Thompson is survived by Retha Smith, of Benson; several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Church. Arrangements are being handled by McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.
