WILFORD V. FINK

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Bill Fink, former resident of Goldsboro, died at the Veterans Hospital in Washington, D.C. He was a resident of the Armed Forces Retirement Home.
He was born in Scheneuus, N.Y., to the late Lewis and Anna Cairns Fink. He served in the Navy from August 1943 until he received his Honorable Discharge in April 1952. He joined the Air Force in September 1952 and served for 28 years, retiring with the rank of master sergeant.
He is survived by his son, Bruce D. Fink of Dafter, Mich.; daughters, Sylva A. Dover of Cary and Beverly J. Meridink of Sunrise, Md.; and one granddaughter.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Chambers Funeral Home. Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at Arlington National Cemetery.
