DUDLEY -- Lonnie Isler Smith, 82, 1541 Old Mount Olive Highway, died Sunday at his residence.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Smith Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, Mount Olive, with Bishop C. R. Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Celia R. Smith of the home; three sons, Lonnie Smith Jr. of Pikeville, Linwood Earl Smith of Dudley, and Robert Earl Bowden of Raleigh; three daughters, Donnie Pearl Greene of Mount Olive, Velma Youmans of Goldsboro, and Charlene Pearsall of Fayetteville; brother, Earl Smith of Trenton, N.J.; 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchldren.
Viewing will be today from 3 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
