Bobby Edgar Newcomb, 67, of 2161 Galilee Road, Smithfield, died Friday evening at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. He was born to the late Willie Edgar Newcomb and Ruth Price Newcomb Edwards. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Princeton Cemetery, with the Rev. Wayne White officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Mozingo Newcomb; his daughter, Barbara Denise Hooks of Pine Tops; his stepson, Randy Radford of Morehead City; stepdaughter, Kathy Thornton of Princeton; brother, Ralph Newcomb of Raleigh; two grandsons; three step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. today at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
