DALE CITY, Va. -- Peggy Jean Bell-Achigbu, 39, formerly of Faison, died Monday at Potomac Hospital in Virginia.
Services will be held at the Goshen Dis-ciples Church in Faison at 1 p.m., Tues-day, with Dr. David Atkin-son officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
She served in the United States Army and was currently working at the Army Management Staff College at Fort Belvoir, Va.
She is survived by her husband, Sgt. Okechuwu Achigbu; two children, PFC Tykelia Bell of Durham, and Carlyle Bartels of the home; her mother, Evangelist Linda Smith of Faison; four sisters, Evangelist Shirley Devone and Gail Lamb, both of Newton Grove, Second Lt. Renee Ogwu, of Iraq, and Robin Smith Johnson, of Goldsboro; one brother, Jarvis Smith of Greensboro.
Viewing will be held from 3 until 7 p.m. Monday, with the family present from 6 until 7 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
