ZULA A. HERRING
Died Jan. 9, 2007
Zula Anderson Herring, 85, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Wayne County to the late Richard A. and Amy Lane Anderson. She was married to the late William O. Herring and was a member of New Life Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be today at 7 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Mondell officiating. Burial will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Herring is survived by her daughters, Betty Underhill (Lucy) and husband, Gerald, of Goldsboro and Jo Ann Cordeiro and husband, Roland, of Surprise, Ariz.; her sister, Ruby A. Knowles of Dudley; five grandchildren and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth R. Herring.
Flowers are welcome or memorials gifts may be directed to the New Life Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends following the service tonight at New Life Baptist Church.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
