SEKIMA 'MIKE' SPENCER

FREMONT -- Sekima "Mike" Earl Spencer, 24, of 885 Turner Swamp Road, died Thursday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday evening in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Silas Pike Cemetery in Pikeville.

He was born in Cumberland County, attended Patetown Church of God and attended Charles B. Aycock High School.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Ronda and Larry Sasser of Fremont; one brother, Danny Spencer of Eureka; two stepbrothers, Dustin and Daniel Sasser, both of Pikeville; and maternal grandparents, Virginia Spencer of Sanford and Herman Spencer and his wife, Shelby, of Milton, Fla.

The family will receive friends following the service on Monday evening at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro and other times at the residence.
