MARY B. PRICE

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Mary Barnes Price, 83, 216 Indian Creek Road, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She was born in Wayne County to the late Patrick Henry Barnes and Estelle Davis Barnes. She was wife of the late Bruce Price and was preceded in death by a grandson, Patrick Price. Mrs. Price was a member of Seven Springs Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from Seven Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Garrett and the Rev. Ashley Summerlin officiating. Burial will follow in Seven Springs Community Cemetery.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, Mrs. Price is survived by three children, Bruce Ann Smith and husband, Eugene, Steve Price and wife, Becky, Tim Price and wife, Jackie; eight grandchildren, Mary Kay Ward, Scott Price and wife, Sharon, Joy Jacobs and husband, Brian, Jason Smith and wife, Tammy, Allen Horton and wife, Shannon, Joe Price and wife, Jerri Lou, Julie Smith, Sarah Roberts and husband, Tracy; along with nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Smith, 216 Indian Creek Road, Seven Springs and one hour prior to the service Friday at Seven Springs Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the Seven Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 5924 Highway 55 East, Seven Springs, 28578. Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
