LUCILLE H. EZZELL

Died Jan. 3, 2007

HARTWELL, Ga. -- Lucille Harris Ezzell, 94, formerly of Goldsboro, died Wednesday at Hart County Hospital in Hartwell, GA. She was born in Wayne County to the late Edward and Sally Thomas Harris and was married to the late Willie R. Ezzell. A member of Jefferson United Methodist Church in Goldsboro she had enjoyed a relationship with St. Andrews Episcopal Church pastoral staff and members while living in Hartwell, Ga.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory of Goldsboro with the Rev. Doug Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, William Edward Ezzell and wife, Carole S., of Hartwell, Ga., and Bobby R. Ezzell and wife, Jean C. of Loudon, Tenn.; five grandchildren, William B. Ezzell and wife, Audrea, of Washington, Ga., Jonathan E. Ezzell and wife, Carrie, of Greenville, Ky., Shari Thomas and husband, Prakash, of New Haven, Conn., Lauren E. Griseto and husband, Nick, of McHenry, Ill., and Kelly Vrtis and husband, Matt, of Flower Mound, TX; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory of Goldsboro.
