Died Dec. 27, 2006

Pearl Christine Dancy, 53, 805 Weaver Drive, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

She was a native of Wayne County, graduate of the Governor's Morehead School in Raleigh, former employee of Murdoch Center in Butner, Caswell Center in Kinston and O'Berry Center in Goldsboro, completing 31 years of employment with the State of North Carolina.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel, 900 S. George St., with Apostle D. L. McIntyre officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery, Durham Lake Road, Dudley.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Arthur Dancy.

Ms. Dancy is survived by two sons, Brandon Arthur Dancy of Goldsboro and Decarlos Antwon McDuffie of the home; mother, Pearl Irene Dancy of the home; one sister, Ernestine Dancy Thompson of Dudley.

Viewing will be Saturday at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro from 2 to 6 p.m. The family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 7:00 p.m.
