MOUNT OLIVE -- Patricia "Pat" Ann Bryant Medlin, 65, 209 Cricket Ridge Road, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Mount Olive Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with burial following in the Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.

Mrs. Medlin is survived by her husband, Alex W. Medlin Jr. of the home; her mother, Blanche Gamble Bryant of Cary; a daugher, Donna Ann M. Edwards of Mount Olive; three sons, Alex W. Medlin III and Wesley Mark Medlin, both of Mount Olive, and David Todd Medlin of Clayton; a sister, Judith Irene B. Arnold of Raleigh; three brothers, William T. Bryant II of Zebulon, James Howard Bryant of Liberty, and Richard Gamble Bryant of Zebulon; five grandchildren, Ecia Rae Medlin, Jonathan Wesley Medlin, Bryce Ray Edwards, Joshua Warren Medlin, and Lindsey Marie Medlin; and a great-grandchild, Na'Kayia Fryar.

Her father was the late William Howard Bryant. She was born in Charlotte and graduated from West Mecklinburg High School. Her family moved to Henderson and it was while there that she met and married her husband. In 1968, they became members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served as a Sunday School teacher and coordinator and Cub Scout leader.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Tyndall's Funeral Home in Mount Olive, and at other times at the home of Bobby and Donna Edwards at 206 Deen Street, Mount Olive.

In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make a memorial gift may do so to the church.
