DR. RALPH R. BERG

Dr. Ralph Roger Berg, 83, died Wednesday at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation in Goldsboro.

All services will be held privately.

Dr. Berg was born in Chicago, Ill., to the late Roy Eugene and Florence Fultz Berg. Dr. Berg was Past President of the International Association of Corrosion Engineers, President and Founder of TEK Industrial Corporation and Engineering Development Corporation. He held multiple International patents and composed Jazz Music. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Yale University and his ME and Ph.D from John Hopkins University.

He is survived by his son, Ralph R. Berg Jr., M.D. of Goldsboro; one daughter, Jannette M. Barth, Ph.D. of Croton on Hudson, N.Y.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, Dr. Ralph R. Berg was preceded in death by his wife, Annette W. Berg.
