RUTH G. COWLES
Died Dec. 19, 2006
MOUNT OLIVE -- Ruth G. Cowles, 80, formerly of 174 E. Pine Forest Road, died Tuesday at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation. She is the daughter of the late Alexander "Buck" and Elizabeth Guy, and was the widow of Roy L. Cowles.
Funeral services will be today at 7 p.m. in the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Southerland officiating. Graveside services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Calypso Cemetery.
Mrs. Cowles is survived by a daughter, Debbie S. Garner and husband, Gerald, of Mount Olive; grandchildren, Shane Southerland, Scott Southerland, and Beth Ann Southerland, Roland Guy Royal and Robert Royal; and great grand-daughter, Zoe Royal.
The family will be receiving friends immediately following the funeral service tonight at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
