ALICE M. HICKMAN

WILSON - Alice Marie Jones Hickman, 69, formerly of Goldsboro, died Tuesday at Avante Nursing Home in Wilson.
Mrs. Hick-man was born in Wayne County to the late James Isaac and Mary Alice Whitley Jones. She was married to the late James Madison Hickman. Mrs. Hickman was a member of Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Mike Grady and the Rev. Frank Purvis officiating.
Mrs. Hickman is survived by her sons, Jimmy Hickman and wife, Wanda, of Wilson and Timothy Hickman and wife, Ann, of Charleston, S.C.; her sister, Elizabeth J. Doherty of Pawley's Island, S.C.; and five grandchildren, Ashley Hickman, Katlin Hickman, James Hickman, Bryanna Hickman and T.J. Hickman. She is also survived by her special caregivers at Avante Nursing Home, Tonya Royster, LPN and Annie Gillian.

The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
