Allied health dean captures state recognition

Janell Marak, dean of the Allied Health and Public Service division at Wayne Community College, has been named the 2017-2018 Katrina V. Miller administrator of the year by the N.C. Association of Educational Office Professionals. She was chosen for the honor first at the college and then the district levels, and will now advance to the national level of the competition. The winner of that contest will be announced at the national AEOP conference in July. The AEOP is a professional organization of educational office personnel and administrators.
