Pair arrested on heroin charges

Wayne County sheriff's deputies arrested two people on drug charges during a traffic stop Saturday.
During the traffic stop, off Central Heights Road, officers with the Aggressive Criminal Enforcement team searched the vehicle and found drug paraphernalia and heroin. Officers then arrested two suspects.
Tony Patrick, 44, 1804 S. Slocumb St., was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to sell and deliver heroin. He was placed in the Wayne County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond.
Crystal Hall, 37, 120 Neuse Bend Road, Smithfield, was charged with two counts of trafficking heroin. She was placed in the Wayne County Detention Center under a $400,000 secured bond.
