Police search for alleged purse snatcher

Goldsboro police are investigating a report of a purse snatching incident.
Just after 3:30 p.m., police responded to a purse snatching incident at Lowe's Home Improvement located at 1202 N. Berkeley Boulevard.
According to police reports a woman was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot when her purse was grabbed from her hand.
A vehicle matching the description the suspect's was located along N.C. 111 North and Stoney Creek Church Road. Wayne County sheriff's deputies stopped the vehicle and the suspect, identified as Dustin Tyler Morgan, jumped out and ran. Deputies searched a nearby subdivision but were unable to locate Morgan.
A warrant has been issued for Morgan's arrest on charges of common law robbery.
