Judge unresponsive after fall on courthouse stairs

District Court Judge Les Turner has been airlifted to UNC Health Care at Chapel Hill after falling in a stairwell inside the Wayne County Courthouse this morning.
Initial reports are that a bailiff heard the judge fall and went to check on him. Turner was unresponsive.
