Board of Education meeting rescheduled to Jan. 11

The Wayne County Board of Education meeting scheduled for today has been postponed, according to a press release from the Wayne County Public School system.
The meeting will instead be held Thursday, Jan. 11. The board will go into closed session at 3 p.m., with the regular meeting scheduled to begin afterward.
The board will vote on school calendars for the 2018-2019 school year, and discuss policies ranging from school safety and board bylaws to class assignments and participation by women and minority-owned businesses.
