Schools cancel all weekend activities, including games and science fair

The Wayne County Public School System has announced a series of cancellations over the weekend due to cold weather and icy road conditions.
All weekend activities are canceled, and WCPS campuses will be closed to the public Saturday and Sunday. Athletic events and practices, driver's education classes and the district science fair are all canceled.
For high school students on the traditional academic calendar, all exams scheduled for Monday have been postponed. New exam dates will be announced after students return to school next week.
