Man charged for having sexual relationship with 13-year-old girl

A 22-year-old Mount Olive man is in custody after being accused of having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl.
Cody Wayne Foy, 22, of 1644 N.C. 55 East, Mount Olive, is charged with statutory rape of a person who is 15 years old or younger.
A press release said the Wayne County Sheriff's Office was advised of the inappropriate relationship and identified Foy as the suspect.
Foy reportedly knew the victim of the alleged crime.
Foy was given a $250,000 secured bond on the charge.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office did not immediately return a phone call seeking more information.
