Cotton module burned

A Wayne County Sheriff's Office report said a cotton module was burned when there was a suspicious fire at 112 Patetown Road Sunday morning.
The fire was extinguished before it spread, but an assistant Goldsboro fire chief reportedly advised deputies the fire was not natural.
A K9 track was done, which led deputies to 211 Alpha Court, but they couldn't determine an apartment where a suspect might be because of too much foot traffic in the area.
The extent of the damage is listed as $6,300.
The incident remains under investigation.
