A 79-year-old man was robbed of $2, along with his wallet, birth certificate and driver's license Sunday, according to a police report.
The man told police Sunday two women robbed him while he was sitting on his porch in the 800 block of East End Circle earlier that day.
He said that two black women came up to him at his home and took his wallet out his back left pocket and then ran away.
He told police the incident happened so fast he did not see what they were wearing or what car they drove away in, but he did say the two perpetrators headed north on Poplar Street when they made their getaway.
The man was not injured during the robbery.
