DUDLEY -- Three children -- two of them toddlers -- and their mother were not injured when someone shot at their home on Running Deer Circle almost a dozen times late Sunday night.

The 32-year-old woman called law enforcement at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday to report hearing gunshots erupt outside her home in the 100 block of Running Deer Circle and bullets enter the residence.

Her three children, ages 14, 3 and 1, were inside at the time of the shooting.

Wayne County sheriff's deputies found about 10 bullet holes in the home, and recovered nine shell casings from the road in front of the residence.

There were three different caliber shell casings recovered -- 9 millimeter, .223 and .380.

The woman told deputies that her and her husband do not have any enemies they know of, but that someone has been by the house several times asking for a person named "Tone."

Each time she has told the person "Tone" no longer lives there.
